Tuesday Shoesday

A la Kathie Lee and Hoda, I decided Tuesday should no longer be the day after Monday. It should be filled with fun, excitement, and shoes to lust after! So instead of Tuesday Boozeday (which I very rarely participate in) I am advocating for Tuesday Shoesday. Every Tuesday I will show a pair of shoes that I absolutely adore, whether they are a lust ($$$$) or a must ($$), and something I MUST have right now.

5 Things I loved about Spring Break

5 Friends in town

I’m lucky enough that most of my friends go to school in Florida and see them fairly often. Besides them, everyone has some type of grandmother, aunt, cousin who lives in Florida. Which means extra fun I get to spend with them. Four of my friends from home came and I was able to spend a few days before two of them went off to a cruise.

Shabbat Dinner Party: Italian Style

Between school, the second issue of the magazine, and two new Israeli friends, I completely forgot to post my delicious photos of my first dinner party. “What were you doing over spring break that you didn’t have time?” That will be an additional post. But this deserves it’s own! Thanks to Hillel and DIY Shabbats, I was able to have 13 friends over and prepare a delicious dinner. I’ve never cooked for more than four people so I was a little nervous, but it came out excellent!

Four Weddings and eventually a baby shower

The past week was pretty hectic but full of fun, friends, and of course food!

After months of not having a proper night to hang out, my friend Tim and I went to our usual burger place, Burger-Fi in Delray Beach. I enjoyed a naturally grown burger topped with blue cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes and lettuce, before being wrapped in iceberg lettuce instead of a bun. I love that they give you the option to be more healthy. It wasn’t until Tim got his burger that I realized they brand the bun with their logo! Pretty cool!
